FAQ
Questions, answered plainly.
For job seekers looking up an employer, employers thinking about Ceribria, and anyone wondering what happens to the data.
01For job seekers
Looking up an employer.
What is a Transparency Report?
A free public page showing an employer's EmployerScore: the overall score out of 100, its four dimensions (Role Stability, Manager Quality, Compensation Reliability and Culture Health), how much data it rests on, and when it was last calculated.
Does it cost anything, or need an account?
No. Anyone can look up an employer by name, free, without an account.
Why can't I find a company?
Only employers that choose to publish appear. A company that isn't listed may not use Ceribria, or may keep its report private; the search treats both the same, so a missing company tells you nothing either way.
Is the score a review, or an audit?
Neither. Ceribria calculates it from the employer's own roster records, the same way for every company, and checks that data for consistency. It doesn't collect opinions, and it doesn't inspect payroll or other outside records.
What do "default estimate" and "not measured" mean?
A default estimate means there wasn't enough data to read that dimension yet, so no number is shown for it. Not measured is usually Culture Health, which needs an anonymous employee survey with at least 5 answers; until then it is left out of the score rather than scored low.
What does "Published by an account at" a domain mean?
The account that published the report proved it controls that company domain, or has a sign-in email there. It shows where the report came from; it isn't proof of authority to speak for the company.
Can I see information about individual employees or their pay?
No. A report never shows a person, a team, or anyone's pay. Pay is used only to calculate the score.
Something on a report looks wrong. What can I do?
Use the "Tell us" link at the bottom of the report. We look into every problem reported.
02For employers
Getting started and staying in control.
What do we need to get started?
An export of your roster from your HR or payroll system, as CSV or Excel, in any column order. It needs an employee ID and a name for each person. Hire dates, managers, titles, departments, leaving dates and pay make the score more complete.
Do our employees have to do anything?
No. The score is calculated from the roster alone. You can run an optional anonymous survey to add Culture Health; it counts once at least 5 people answer.
Do we have to publish our score?
No. Your report is private until you choose to publish it, and you can unpublish at any time. If your plan ends, the report comes down.
Can we pay to improve our score?
No. The EmployerScore changes only when your data changes. Buying the Retention Engine, or any other plan, does not move it.
How often does the score update?
Every time you upload a new roster. With the Retention Engine, team risk scores refresh on your depth's schedule: quarterly for Cortex, monthly for Limbic, weekly for Neocortex.
Do you connect directly to our HR or payroll system?
Not yet. Today you upload an export file, and each upload replaces the last one. Anyone missing from a new upload is treated as having left on the upload date.
How much does it cost?
EmployerScore is $1,250 a month, flat, whatever your size. The Retention Engine is an optional add-on priced by company size and depth, from $3,960 a month, with employee surveys included. There's no setup fee up to 150 employees. Prices exclude tax. See full pricing.
03Data and privacy
What happens to your data.
What happens to our roster file?
Before it's uploaded, your browser removes columns Ceribria never uses, such as Social Security numbers, birth dates, home addresses and bank details. Once the roster is processed, the original file and its preview rows are deleted. We keep the employee records the score is calculated from.
Does an AI see our employees' data?
No. For column headings our built-in matcher can't place, an AI model sees only the heading and the pattern of a few values ("a date", "a 6-digit number"), never the values themselves: no names, IDs, dates or pay.
Who can see our data?
The people you invite to your account, and Ceribria to run the service. The public sees nothing unless you publish your report, and then only the score and its dimensions.
Are survey answers anonymous?
Yes. Answers are stored with no link to the person or their email, dated to the day only, and you see results only once at least 5 people have answered.
Do you sell our data?
No. We don't sell or share personal information for advertising, and we don't use roster data for advertising.
How long do you keep our data?
While your plan is active, and for up to 90 days after it ends; then it's deleted automatically, after we email your account's owners and admins first. You can ask us to delete it sooner at sales@ceribria.com, and we will within 30 days. The Privacy Policy and list of services we use have the details.
